coursesetter CS2

Not in production / Not available for sale
The course-setter CS2 is an interface, connected between an electronic compass of I.T. Holland and any riverpilot. By combining the output of the course-setter with a r.o.t. indicator, a ship can be kept on course.
The heading can be chosen manually by means of an indicator. In case of deviations in reference to the set heading, an analog signal is sent to the pilot. Adjusting the output signal of the course-setter in both amplitude and zero reference affects the steering-characteristics of the ship. This way one can try to obtain the optimal setting for each particular vessel.
