I.T. Holland, a company which exist for more than 25 years, started designing and manufacturing electronic magnetic compass systems in 1980. I.T. Holland was the first company that obtained a DSI (Dutch Shipping Inspection) certificate for inlandshipping and seagoingvesels on a electronic compass system. Not much later I.T. Holland also achieved this with BSH (Germany). I.T. Holland was also one of the first companies who obtained the 'WHEELMARK" for an electronic magnetic compas system (august 2001 for the first system, via Bureau Veritas).
Because of the flexibillity of the company to meet customer specifications, designing and manufacuring of electronic compass systems has been the core business of the company since the reorganisation in 1995. With 'custom' build systems and a good market price many people and companies choose for a system manufacured by I.T. Holland. Many vessels apply a compass system manufactured by I.T. Holland, among most of the SAR vessels of the KNRM (SAR organization in Holland), Police patrolvessels and Governement vessels.
I.T. Holland designs and manufactures electronic magnetic compass systems, complying to international regulations (ISO11606) and obtained the ISO9002 (module D) certificate in order to be able to obtain the "WHEELMARK" for their systems.
With both these certificates the quality and reliabillity of our products are reinforced, complemented with warrenty and good service.
Through the experience with nautical equipment and their application I.T. Holland also designs and manufactures interface units to be able to let their systems communicate with other nautical instruments and computers, mostly according to the NMEA0183 protocol.
I.T. Holland keeps innovating their systems to improve their products, comply to the international regulations and to stay ahead of the competition.
